Are you prepared to take your golf game to the next level? Well, get ready because May 2023 marks the official opening of the Omni PGA Frisco Resort, and it's set to be a game-changer for golfers of all ages and skill levels.

Located just steps away from the PGA of America headquarters, the new Frisco golf courses will be open to the public. Anyone can come and test their skills on 36 world-class holes or play more casually on the lighted 10-hole pitch-and-putt course. That's right, day or night, you can hit the links and enjoy a round of golf like never before.

And the best part? High schoolers in the area now have access to championship-level courses by star designers Gil Hanse and Beau Welling. In fact, these are the same golf courses that will host the 2027 and 2034 PGA Championships and the 2025 and 2031 KPMG Women's PGA Championships.

The Omni PGA will be home to ample play options: two 18-hole championship golf courses, Fields Ranch East and Fields Ranch West; The Swing, a lighted 10-hole, par-3 short course; and The Dance Floor, a 2-acre putting course and entertainment area. More fun awaits golfers and non-golfers at the PGA District with shopping, entertainment, and dining options, including a lounge with industry-leading Topgolf Swing Suite technology and virtual games.

It's safe to say that the Omni PGA Frisco Resort is adding to Frisco's nickname of Sports City USA, and we couldn't be more excited about it. This resort is part of a larger deal that dates back to 2018 when the city won a nationwide bidding process for the PGA of America to relocate its headquarters from Palm Beach County, Florida. According to Wes Pierson, Frisco's new city manager, this area is set to be an international draw and the new home of golf.
